Extension of Tax Amnesty to October 1

Minister of Finance Colm Imbert extended the tax amnesty for two more weeks to October 1, “to give taxpayers some more time to file their returns, and in recognition of the difficulties associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.”

The Ministry of Finance, the taxes covered by the 2021 tax amnesty comprise:

  • Individual Income Tax Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE)
  • Health Surcharge
  • Corporation Tax
  • Business Levy
  • Green Fund Levy
  • Value Added Tax (VAT)
  • Petroleum Profits Tax (PPT)
  • Supplemental Petroleum Tax (SPT)
  • Unemployment Levy
  • Stamp Duty
  • Property Tax (Arrears from Lands & Buildings Taxes and Municipal Corporations Taxes Act, Part V)
  • Club Gaming Tax and Gaming Amusement Tax
